🥐 Budapest Bakeshop: Chimney Cakes with a Twist

Nestled right on Queen Street, Budapest Bakeshop brings the rich, comforting taste of Hungarian chimney cakes to the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Whether you’re out exploring shops or just looking for something unique to snack on, this cozy spot offers a treat that’s equal parts theatre and flavour. Each cake is rolled by hand, baked over an open flame, and served warm with a variety of sweet or savoury finishes.

🎨 New Exhibit: Living Environments by Sue Archibald

The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is welcoming a stunning new exhibit this spring! Living Environments by Sue Archibald runs from April 29 to May 25 at the Joyner Gallery.

Sue’s work invites visitors to explore hidden narratives through vibrant landscapes and domestic scenes that capture the emotional essence of place.

You’re invited to the Opening Reception on Sunday, May 4 at 2PM — meet the artist, view her work firsthand, and enjoy remarks at 2:30PM.

🧘‍♀️ Sunrise Yoga and Tulips

Start your morning in full bloom with Sunrise Yoga with Tulips on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at TASC Tulip Farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Hosted by SloFlo World, this 60-minute outdoor yoga session welcomes all levels and is set amidst over 3 million blooming tulips. After the class, participants can pick 10 tulips to take home and enjoy a peaceful picnic among the vibrant fields. Tickets are $40 and include yoga, tulip picking, and farm access. Remember to bring your own mat or rent one on-site for $8. Pets are welcome, and free parking is available.
